Lagorce boasts a past rich in prehistory, dating as far back as 40,000 BC, and also history. In the touwn square of Dime, you can see 2 stone vats in which the farmers of the Middle Ages poured a schare of their harvest. Adorned by a sun dial, the feudal belfry, marked with the coat of arms of the first lord of Lagorce dating grom 1240, dominates the square.
